Snapturn reads only the screenshots you choose, keeps the images on your phone, and never uses your data for ads.

Who we are

Snapturn is made by Hello Kft., Szőlő utca 113., 5600 Békéscsaba, Hungary (EU VAT number HU11430494). Hello Kft. is the data controller for the data described here.

What Snapturn reads

Snapturn asks for access to your photo library so it can find your screenshots. It looks only at screenshots, not at your other photos.

When you start, you choose how many of your existing screenshots Snapturn should read. After that, it reads new screenshots as you take them. You can hide any screenshot from Snapturn at any time.

What leaves your phone

To read a screenshot, Snapturn sends a copy of that one image and the text your phone recognised on it to our server. Our server passes it to Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic, which describes what is on the screenshot. The answer comes back to your phone and becomes the links you see.

  • The image is not stored on our server. It is used for the reading and then discarded.
  • The reading is kept on our server (the app name, title and similar text, not the image), so the same screenshot is never read and paid for twice.
  • Anthropic processes the request under its commercial terms and does not use it to train its models.

What stays on your phone

Your screenshots, your tags, your searches and everything you do in the app stay on your iPhone. Snapturn has no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your phone. To have the readings removed from our server too, email support@snapturn.app and we will delete them.

Children

Snapturn is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

When purchases and accounts arrive in the app, this page will be updated to describe them before they go live.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH, naih.hu) or the authority where you live.
